Hinge screw

Woodies® Ultimate hinge screws are specially designed for hinges and other metalwork. The screw does not have milling ribs, so the surface of the metalwork will not be damaged. The smaller head fits perfectly into the screw holes of the hinges and metalwork. The tip is designed to screw effortlessly into the wood and reduce the chance of the wood splitting – with the added benefit of pre-drilling not being required in most cases. Available in the Shield Outdoor Blackline version to blend seamlessly with black metalwork and in the 410 stainless steel version to match perfectly with stainless steel door fittings.
Useful tip: say you are fitting new hinges and using 4.0 mm screws. If you are replacing existing hinges and intend to re-use the old screw holes, you should use 4.5 mm screws so that the screw has sufficient grip.
